As a lightworker, I bring my compassion, healing, and wisdom to readings. Because I faced significant challenges and abuses, I've been perceiving the energies of other people and places from a very young age. Over time, my psychic awareness grew as I developed greater self-awareness. When I got older, I started to explore different healing modalities to overcome childhood traumas. 30 years ago, I learned to be present in the moment and make conscious choices. Then, I grounded my own healing in a daily practice and became much more aware of how love energy expands people, places and ideas and how fear energy does the opposite.

Love energy is so many things: words that connect us, music that lifts us or art that transports us, clarity and compassion, the acceptance of a difficult truth, a calm reply, creating healthy boundaries, laughing and having fun, the quiet and steady grounding of aggressive energies, appreciating and expressing your truth and creativity, rising above, standing against oppression, protecting nature, generating new ideas during a group think, actually listening to someone without judgement or a ready reply, smiling to connect, cooking something delicious to share, giving generous encouragement, and so on...

 

Over the years, in many different circumstances, I've been practicing making better choices, more loving choices. Not everyone will have to heal from trauma in their lifetime, but there will always be challenges to face and overcome. There will always be a gap between what we hope for and what we have. As my own childhood and generational traumas surfaced, I started a process of healing. Honestly, the best medicine for me has been learning to laugh again, not at something or someone but for the joy of it. I keep my experiences in my back pocket - the incredible ones, the good, bad and the ugly. I've learned from my family, through parenting and relationships. I have learned from fair-weather friends and true friendships alike, from road trips and travel. I have learned a lot both formally and informally through hard work and the privilege of a good education. I have learned from my years of dedication and hard work in education and communications too. I carry it all with me.

 

In 1997, when I picked up my first tarot deck called The Wheel of Change tarot (out-of-print), I started to learn and practice tarot. It trained me to focus on, connect to, and perceive the energies and guidance around me. As a channel, I communicate messages in the energy and intention of love and light. I have some favourite tarot and oracle decks, of course, but different decks call to me at different times.
